For the fourth edition of Canada’s only outdoor modern fencing tournament, Escrime Mont-Royal has again partnered with the Stewart Museum. This showcase of swordplay from the Renaissance to the modern Olympics, will take over the court yard of the Stewart Museum on Île Sainte-Hélène for a day of various fencing activities. The Duel Sainte-Hélène will be June 2, 2018 (rain date June 3) on the picturesque site of the old fort on the shores of the St-Lawrence River, with a stunning view of downtown Montreal. This is not just a tournament but an opportunity for all to discover the noble art and science of fencing. Come watch this exciting tournament and try fencing yourself. Activities and initiation to modern, historical and wheelchair fencing for adults and children will entertain the crowd throughout the day. A hands-on experience you are sure to remember.
