EDMONTON’S INTERNATIONAL BEERFEST

Edmonton’s International BeerFest is back, April 13 & 14 at the Shaw Conference Centre(9797 Jasper Avenue), 4 pm – 10 pm. Covering 80,000 square feet and featuring over 500 beers, BeerFest is bigger and better than ever! Now in its 12th year, BeerFest features over 500 imported, domestic and craft beers, plus wine, cider and spirits for sampling. BeerFest boasts the largest selection of international beers at one festival in Alberta. The Craft Beer Village includes some of Edmonton’s favourites including Blindman Brewing (Lacombe), Troubled Monk (Red Deer), Yellowhead Brewery(Edmonton) and Alley Kat Brewing Company (Edmonton). Discover the art of tasting, brewing and food pairing at Beer School, with sessions by Bennie Dingemanse, Head Brewer, Mill St. Brewery Calgary; Michelle Tham, National Educator forLabatt Breweries; Tom Harty, Brand Development Manager Western Canada, Stanley Park Brewing and Mill St. Brewery. This year features an exciting line up of entertainment including Amy Hef, Karimah, Archaics, Tallest to Shortest, and Rottin’ Dan and the Lightin’ Child.
