On March 22nd, the Mountain View Winter Festival presents an evening of chamber music featuring Italian-American composers and their Italian counterparts. A highlight to their annual music festival, this concert will present Canadian violinist extraordinaire, Jonathan Crow, cellist Joseph Johnson, and violist Michael Buresy with young musicians from the Festival’s Professional Development Program. The programme features the chamber music of Menotti, Nino Rota, songs by Puccini, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Quintet for guitar and string quartet, and “Letters from Composers” for guitar and soprano by Dominick Argento. Free admission for children 12 and under.
