March 8 – 11, 2018, is a 4 day multidisciplinary arts festival in various venues along Alberta Avenue. Celebrating diversity, SkirtsAfire Festival empowers, develops, supports and showcases women-identified artists. Festival highlights include: performance by folk singer Maria Dunn, The Romeo Initiative, spoken word showcase: Words Unzipped, and a visual art exhibit curated by Lana Whiskeyjack.
