Decay and renewal are the foremost themes in this new series of work by Meacham artist Anita Rocamora. Sculptural vessels made from clay and metal strive to connect nature’s processes with the human experience. Layers of meaning are inscribed in Rocamora’s work through her signature delicate and subtle aesthetic as well as through the creative process of fire, water, and chemical reactions.
