The Cathedral Church of the Redeemer is delighted to present The Cathedral Organ Concert Series – a new series of organ concerts. The second concert will feature Calgary organist Neil Cockburn and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra’s principal trumpet Adam Zinatelli. The concert features “Ókna” (“Windows”) for trumpet & organ by Czech composer Petr Eben (1929 – 2007). “Ókna” was inspired by the dramatic stained glass windows by Russian-French artist Marc Chagall in the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem. Tickets are $10 and are available for purchase at the door (cash only). The concert will last approximately 60 minutes, allowing you to catch another downtown show afterwards.
