Join us for an afternoon of music, where we present to you an invigorating program of American Wind Band classics – and a couple new pieces too! The program, as follows: Trittico – Vaclav Helhybel Redline Tango – John Mackey Three Dance Episodes from On the Town – Leonard Bernstein (trans. Paul Lavender) Hymn for the Innocent – Julie Giroux Watchman, Tell Us of the Night – Mark Camphouse Chaos Theory – James Bonney featuring James Walsh Following the concert there will be a silent auction to raise funds for the David Erdmann Memorial Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship is to be dedicated to a dear friend of the Edmonton Winds, and the greater music community in Edmonton, and is to be paid out annually to a music student in the Edmonton area, to assist with their financial needs, and provide them with an artistic mentorship with the Edmonton Winds.
