Dinosaurs! Fossils! Enjoy fascinating palaeontology talks, fossil displays and posters from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the Jenkins Theatre, Mount Royal University, 4825 Mount Royal Gate SW, Calgary. Dr. Richard McCrea from the Peace Region Palaeontology Research Centre in Tumbler Ridge, BC. will show the numerous dinosaur trackways in Alberta, B.C. and the Yukon. Tammy Pigeon will describe the discovery and preparation of B.C.’s first dinosaur skull. Dr. Francois Therrien of the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Palaeontology in Drumheller will discuss the latest conclusions on Alberta’s Late Cretaceous climate change. Six other talks feature the latest fossil discoveries and palaeontological research. This event is FREE to the public, is family friendly and no registration is required.
