Alberta Aviation Museum Lecture Series A look at the events that led up to the RCMP forming their own air division in 1937 and the changes it has experienced through the years. Guest speaker, and AAM board member, Jack Van Norman spent most of his 32 year RCMP career serving in the force’s Air Division where he flew Beavers, Otters, Beech 18s, Turbo Beavers, Twin Otters, the Grumman Goose, King Air 200s, Citation Jets and the Cessna Caravan. Since retirement he has served as an Aviation Consultant, Contract Pilot and Pilot Examiner. He’s flown in over 45 countries on over 80 types of aircraft including the B17 Bomber with the Commemorative Air Force, and has a total of over 15,000 hours flying time. $8 Members / $10 Non-Members Light refreshments included
