Local band the C Jam Big Band brings the swing with live jazz and big band music this Family Day from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The Sugar Swing dancers will be on hand to teach you a new step or two. This free event is fun for all ages! The live music will be broadcast outdoors for your enjoyment while skating on the plaza. Free skate rentals are available on a first come, first serve basis. The plaza rink is open during favourable weather conditions, please call 311 for updates. City Hall is a great destination for families. Located in the heart of downtown Edmonton, City Hall is easily accessible by public transit and offers heated underground parking. Public washrooms are available inside and food establishments are close by.
