Global News: Morning of Giving

Visit the Global News team for a Morning of Giving in support of the Magic of Christmas, powered by Bowest Appliances.

Join the team onsite at the Global studios on Wednesday, December 13 from 6am – 9am, and bring a new, unwrapped gift for any age to help Calgary families in need. If you can’t make it during these hours, you can always drop off your donations to the following locations during their regular office hours until December 12:

• Global TV studios, 222 23 St NE
• or any one of the following Bowest Appliances locations:
  • 6323 Bowness Road NW
  • 3900 106 Avenue SE, Bay 25
  • 2020 32 Avenue NE, Bay K

Then, on Christmas Eve, we’re teaming up with the Magic of Christmas and delivering all your generous donations to families in our community in need of a little more cheer this holiday season.

Christmas Wish List
These are the items that the families or individuals would really like to have this Christmas. Please note, the Magic of Christmas visits people of all ages, from newborns to grandparents. It’s important to remember that adults want Christmas magic too. Item donations must be new, unused, and unwrapped, and we cannot accept donations that are associated with violence (guns, swords, etc). For any cash donations, you will need to fill out a form at one of the drop off locations, and receipts will be distributed by mail only.
