Data Management Association of Edmonton is hosting its 3rd annual conference on October 27th & 28th, 2017, in the Shaw Theatre, NAIT Main Campus.
IT professionals and auditors will learn from experts and thought-leaders in the field of data analytics and machine learning who are coming from the US and across Canada. For example, the audience will gain valuable insights from Kevin Waugh, formerly of Facebook, now with Google Deep Mind, on how Facebook & Google use machine learning for their advertising systems. The audience will also hear from Dr. Amelia Estwick from the US National Cybersecurity Institute in New York. She was the Technical Director with the US Department of National Defence’s Threats Operations Centre. Dr. Estwick will share her knowledge on the most current state of cyber warfare and how organizations can take steps to prevent it and protect its valuable data.
