I Can Dream Theatre Inc. (ICDT) is a charitable organization based in Montreal. It’s primary purpose is to provide adults with special needs opportunities to develop their talents in the performing arts, specifically the areas of acting, singing, dancing and playing musical instruments. I Can Dream Theatre has performed one major production annually to audiences of approximately a thousand people since then. If you had the opportunity to change something from your past, would you do it? I Can Dream Theatre’s sixth major production Back To Grease asks that very question. In Back To Grease, one time teenage lovebirds Danny Zuko and Sandy Olssen are now married and in their golden years. Danny is haunted by one single action from his past which caused a ripple effect and made his present life what it is. When his friend Doc Emmett Brown presents the chance to go back in time and correct an old wrong, Danny goes for it. Along with Sandy and his old buddy Kenickie, our foursome returns back to the days of soda shoppes and poodle skirts. Watch them re-live some old memories – not to mention running into their younger selves in the process! Can Danny, Sandy and crew undo past mistakes and maybe alter their present for the better, before time runs out? Join us on this ride back in time and see if grease is still the word.
