3rd Annual Lumby Butter Tart Festival and Contest. The sweetest little Festival in the Valley. Local non-profit organizations raise funds for local projects and area Market vendors selling a wild range of butter tarts, both traditional and non. Discover the “Best Butter Tart in BC” contest where some of the gooiest, glorious butter tarts are judged for the much sought after title and winners ribbons. Located in the leafy, tranquil Whitevalley Community Park in Lumby the Festival runs from 9am-1pm on Saturday, September 9th. The Village of Lumby is just a short ride from Vernon.
