Your Kontinent: Digital Carnival 2017

Your Kontinent: Digital Carnival is back again! Bringing art to the heart of community, Digital Carnival is a cutting-edge showcase of emerging media art talent; new, immersive digital technologies; and innovative, interdisciplinary art practices. With LAND as its theme, this year’s program features 15 works by 23 artists, each piece is a unique experience as diverse as the artists behind them. We invite you to think about questions of nation, land, and home as you learn to speak ocean, discover the Fraser River, write a love letter to land, or revisit the days of phone books and analog phones. Here you’ll meet some of the coolest artists from in- and out- of town, and see some truly innovative applications of technology. Be prepared to feast your senses on art that you can see, hear, touch, and taste!
