A 3 hour interactive workshop with Pop-Up Adventure Play. For those that already believe in the benefits of child-directed play, this workshop will take your knowledge to the ‘next level.’ You will learn about key theories from playwork to establish a shared vocabulary with which to examine nuances of risk, setting, advocacy and more! This interactive and collaborative workshop will help deepen your understanding of child-directed play and how to employ it in your setting.
Pop-Up Adventure Playground will be demonstrating at the Edmonton Valley Zoo on August 27 from 12-2. All ages of children and families are welcome! (regular zoo admission is required).
