Discovery Days at Beavermead - image

Otonabee Conservation is pleased to host a Discovery Days program of outdoor activities the entire family will enjoy at Beavermead Campground on Saturday and Sunday, August 12th – 13th, 2017.

Campers, community residents and visitors to the region are invited to participate in family-friendly environmentally-themed activities throughout the day. The events are free and pre-registration is not required. Beavermead Campground is located in the heart of the city, at 2011 Ashburnham Drive, Peterborough.

New in 2017 is the Discovery Days Passport. Individuals are encouraged to have their Discovery Days Passport stamped at the events they attend and enter their passport into a draw for a chance to win a great prize. For those who do not have a Passport, they are available upon request at the Beavermead Campground Gatehouse. The prizes being offered include a 2018 Family Camping Package for the Warsaw Caves Conservation Area and Campground, a “Kawartha Chair” child-sized and a Pollinator Habitat Package, courtesy of Otonabee Conservation and the Hope Mill Volunteers.
