xREDx Talks, the International Indigenous speaker series, is coming to the Enoch First Nation, Edmonton/Treaty 6 on July 6th, 2017. This xREDx Talks event is themed “Eagle and Condor” and is an International celebration of Indigenous foods from around the globe. Well-known Edmontonian Chef, Shane Chartrand, is the guest curator and will host the evening where some of Alberta’s top chef’s will collaborate with International Indigenous chefs in an “open fire” cooking gathering, to celebrate the roots of the culinary world. The showcase of speakers such as Minnesota’s famous “Sioux Chef” Sean Sherman, and 10 of Alberta’s top executive Chefs, will honor the Indigenous spirit of oral tradition and storytelling.
