Celebrate Canadian Multiculturalism Day, Tuesday June 27th from 5-8pm, at the Multicultural Block Party hosted by the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives and Route Blue Wayfinder. Bring your friends and family, and a lawn chair or blanket to Civic Plaza, located on the Vernon Museum grounds, and show your proud Canadian colors! With a rededication of the Multicultural Mural painted by Michelle Loughery, dance and skill demonstrations by a selection of community multicultural groups, a Canada 150 Diversity Mural Bead Community Engagement Public Art Installation, interactive and informational tables from many of Vernon’s multicultural communities, groups, and services, plus, food, cake and the KISS FM events crew on site, you won’t want to miss this party!
