Across the Fraser Valley, there are hundreds of hoops without nets and hundreds of kids without positive role models, Big Brothers or Big Sisters. This June, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley and Swishin’ Mission are hanging purple basketball nets on empty hoops across the city, to bring Big and Little brothers and sisters together through basketball. You can join the Purple Net Project and make a meaningful difference in a kid’s life by inquiring about volunteering to become a Big Brother or Big Sister.
