Music at Mackie Summer Concert

We are excited to kick off the Music at Mackie series June 23rd with The Smith Fraser Duo! Andrew Smith and Neil Fraser (of Lent Fraser Wall fame) mix their musical talents – resulting in a magical duo. Their genre focuses on a counterpoint between folk and jazz, playing a blend of original and classic tunes. Andrew Smith has travelled the world winning several awards, and the local Okanagan Instrumental Artist Award. Neil Fraser is a legendary Vernon guitarist and a highly respected musician. This concert will be memorable so come check them out before they leave for their east coast tour! For a magical summer evening come listen to marvelous music on the spacious lawns overlooking Kalamalka Lake. Bring your own lawn chair/blanket and picnic dinner – or if you prefer purchase a picnic dinner with your ticket and dine “al fresco” at the historic Mackie Lake House. Gates open at 5:00pm; music begins at 6:00pm. Beer and wine are available at our cash bar. Concert tickets are $25 per person; children under the age of 12 are free!
