Carnaval del Sol is a 100,000-attendee family-oriented free festival July 8 and 9 that is part of the multi-event 10-day Latin American Week, welcoming both Latinos and the local community. Carnaval del Sol includes 250 musicians as well as artists, folk dances, sports, culinary demonstrations, Latin-inspired fashion, children’s activities and Latino food zone, recreating the atmosphere of a vibrant city plaza in Latin America.
