The Vaughan String Quartet is concluding the Connection Concert Series on Saturday April 8th, presenting two masterpieces of the literature for string quartet: the String Quartet Op.18 No.1 by Ludwig van Beethoven and the String Quartet in c minor Op.51 No.1 by Johannes Brahms. After this concert the quartet will be fully committed to the recording project of Brazilian and Italian music in the summer.
