When you listen to the Cactus Blossoms, you may be reminded of the Everly Brothers or other country bands from the 50’s and 60’s, but Minneapolis brothers Jack Torrey and Page Burkum are much more than a tribute act. The duo’s gorgeous harmonies and ageless sound spell out just the beginning for these brothers. With songs that draw from country, pop, rockabilly and even some folk and blues, the brothers manage to tie all of those influences into one cohesive package with their debut album. You’re Dreaming, produced by JD McPherson, came out last year and they’ve been touring non-stop since. This will be their first headlining show in Vancouver, so make sure to come out and show them some love.
