Join us for a 1920’s inspired fundraiser on board the S.S. Sicamous Stern Wheeler :) Date: Saturday March 11th 2017 Location: The SS Sicamous, 1099 Lakeshore Drive West, Penticton Price: Tickets are $45.00 – includes first drink + appies Beginners Swing Dancing Lesson | Doors open 7pm – Lesson Starts at 7:30pm Speakeasy | from 8pm till late This event is a fundraiser for the SS Sicamous Society (A non-profit organization that works to protect the marine heritage of the Okanagan). Tickets are available online from: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/great-gatsby-party-tickets-29559662747 or in person at Cannery Brewing (on Ellis Street, Penticton) Please note- tickets will not be available at the door. The Details: Beginners Swing Dancing Lesson | Doors open 7pm – Lesson Starts 7:30pm Space for the lesson is limited – please make sure you register early if you would like to attend! (There will be the option to do this when you purchase your ticket). The lesson is being taught by Even Dance (Don’t worry, you won’t need a partner to attend- volunteers will be happy to find you a swing-dance buddy!) The Gatsby Party | 8pm till Late Dress code | Cocktail Attire Swinging Music | Yanti and DJ Tenacious T Sip cocktails from vintage tea cups (crafted by Maple Leaf Spirits Inc and Old Order Distilling Company.) Savor locally brewed beers (from Cannery Brewing), and enjoy bubbly from the Back Door Winery! Dainty appetizers are being cooked up by Okanagan Vintage Catering Company and will be served on vintage china and silver trays, while you listen to songs from Yanti, and electro-swing music from DJ Tenacious T.
