Rawda Mabrouk: The Journey Series
SaskTel Theatre and Riverview Room
RSVP Required
The Journey Series is an interdisciplinary performance exploring migration, memory, identity and belonging through contemporary dance, performance and visual art. Created by multidisciplinary artist Rawda Mabrouk, the performance is the culmination of her year-long engagement in Remai Modern’s Sustained Artist Mentorship Program. Five interconnected works unfold across shifting landscapes and spaces, revealing traces of an intimate inner journey. The artist acknowledges the support of the Canada Council for the Arts, SK Arts and Dance Saskatchewan with thanks to sīkwan, PAVED Arts and House of Kheops, Cairo.
