Return to the Falls Film Screening

An evening of storytelling, reflection, and honouring Survivors. Join us at at WAG-Qaumajuq for the final screening marking the culmination of a national journey of storytelling, learning, and reflection through Return to the Falls. This special evening brings together Survivors, community members, and partners to honour the impact of Elder Betty Ross’s life story and the important conversations it has inspired. Doors open at 5pm with snacks and drinks available by Shelly’s Bistro while supplies last. Opening remarks begin at 6pm, including an introduction to the film by Sandy Robinson, followed by the screening and conversation reflecting on the film’s themes with Elder Betty Ross, Eppo Eerkes, and Sandy Robinson. The evening will conclude with an Honour Song in recognition of all Survivors. Singers Kashina Bkacksmith-Seenie and Jaycee Seenie will provide a welcome song and honour song and Sandy Robinson will provide opening and closing prayer.
