Transcend Together: A Couple’s Retreat

While the national conversation around mental health has grown louder, relationship health has remained in the shadows. Couples wait years before seeking help, access to evidence-based relationship support is limited and expensive, and the cultural stigma around therapy, particularly in Western Canada, keeps most partners from ever reaching out. Transcend Together is a response to that gap. Created by two Registered Psychologists from Edmonton’s own Transcend Psychological, this is an immersive couples retreat combining clinical-grade workshops with a restorative down time in serene nature. This is not just a weekend away, but an opportunity for couples to rise above the every day noise, re-connect, and grow together. Everything is included–accommodations, workshops, meals, recreational activities–you just show up with your favorite person and your toothbrush. The best part? Depending on the couples’ extended health care coverage, up to $3,055 of the total cost can be covered through benefits (the equivalent of 13 therapy hours).
