Generations celebrates the musical roots of Edmonton’s folk community as songs and stories pass from parent to child and onward again. Four remarkable musical families share one stage for an evening of connection and tradition. Wendy Gregson joins daughter Renee McLachlin and granddaughters Ruby and Bella with music from their beautiful Mother Tree project, alongside folk veteran Gord Matthews and his son Travis. The second set features acclaimed songwriter Billie Zizi with her father, world-travelled fiddler Cam Neufeld and his gypsy-trail inspired Road to Django, joined by rising artist Kaiya Kodie performing with her father Jason.
