community-driven event hosted by Beyond Hoops Africa, UPrep Canada Basketball Club, and Shoot 360 BC in celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. Taking place on April 4th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Jules Verne Secondary School in Vancouver, the event will bring together youth aged 10–18 for an afternoon of sport, mentorship, and learning under the theme “Building Bridges & Breaking Barriers.” The camp blends basketball programming with interactive educational sessions focused on financial literacy, mental health awareness, anti-racism, and drug abuse prevention. Participants will also enjoy Bucket Golf, an engaging indoor activity introducing the basics of golf in a fun and accessible way. Supported in part by TD Bank Group, the initiative aims to empower young people with practical life skills while fostering inclusion, confidence, and community connection.
