The Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Alberta is an annual winter fundraising event that brings communities together for a fun and courageous cause. Participants take the icy leap into freezing waters during the Alberta winter after collecting pledges from friends, family, coworkers, local businesses, and community supporters. Funds raised through the Polar Plunge directly help Special Olympics athletes train and compete in their chosen sports year-round, while also providing opportunities to advance to provincial, national, and international competitions. This event offers individuals, teams, and organizations a memorable way to get involved, build community spirit, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of athletes across Alberta.
