Killarney’s Zumba® For Cure

Killarney’s Zumba for a Cure comes to the Killarney Community Centre on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, and this year’s event is all about heart, healing, and community. Held in the gymnasium at 6260 Killarney Street in Vancouver, BC, this powerful day brings people together to move with purpose and honour the loved ones who shape our lives. With three uplifting one‑hour Zumba sessions led by some of Vancouver’s most inspiring instructors, the room will be filled with energy, joy, and the shared strength of everyone dancing beside you. When registering, please choose which of the three sessions you’d like to dance in. Cancer touches every family, every neighbourhood, every community. Behind every participant is a story — of courage, of loss, of survival, of love. This year, we’re opening space for those stories to be heard. We invite you to share your cancer journey or tell us who you’ll be dancing for. Selected stories will be featured on our social media to honour your voice and remind others that they are not alone. Your story may be the one that lifts someone else up. Registration is $45, which includes a limited‑edition event t‑shirt featuring an extraordinary augmented‑reality artwork by artist Tarcila Neves. Each shirt includes a QR code that brings the design to life — a symbol of resilience and the power of community. This special event t‑shirt will also be available for sale on the day of the event, giving everyone a chance to take home this meaningful keepsake which you can purchase for that loved one who has conquered cancer. Throughout the event, we will also be selling raffle tickets for some incredible prizes, including a beautifully framed print of Tarcila Neves’ Invicta. This artwork also features its own QR code, unlocking her stunning digital‑reality experience. After registering, participants are encouraged to sign up with the BC Cancer Foundation to gather donations from friends, family, and co‑workers, with every dollar going directly to the BC Cancer Foundation.
