The 10th Halifax Black Film Festival (#HIBFF26) celebrates a decade of amplifying Black voices during African Heritage Month, February 20–24, 2026.
Featuring over 35 compelling films from around the world, the festival kicks off in person on Feb 20–21 and continues online through Feb 24. Opening with Jean-Gabriel Leynaud’s Of Mud and Blood, #HIBFF26 spotlights diverse, powerful stories that challenge perspectives, spark conversation, and celebrate Black creativity on a global stage.
