Burton Cummings

Manitoba music legend Burton Cummings will return to Winnipeg to perform at his namesake venue, the Burton Cummings Theatre.

The theatre was renamed after the Winnipeg-born singer, songwriter and former Guess Who frontman in 2002, and renewed in 2017. As part of the naming, Burton agreed to perform a minimum of four concerts in the facility over the next 15 years. These shows represent Cummings’ enduring commitment to seeing this historic theatre remain an integral part of Winnipeg’s downtown entertainment scene. Proceeds from his concerts will go toward the continued rejuvenation of the building that has been a gathering spot for the community since 1907. Burton’s previous performances at the theatre in 2017 and 2022 sold out immediately.
