The Ukrainian Museum of Canada, Alberta Branch is celebrating its 80th Anniversary with an exhibit, “Collections and Recollections”. This milestone focuses attention on the many donors who contributed cherished Ukrainian artifacts to build a heritage collection of national and international renown. The celebration will highlight 80 sorochky (embroidered shirts). The public is invited to the opening reception on Saturday, May 3, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s Cultural Centre (10611 – 110 Avenue NW), with the official program beginning at 7:00 p.m. Visit the website at http://www.umcalberta.org for information. The Museum will also be open on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 12 – 4 p.m.
