OSCARS Live Watch Party!

A live screening party and fundraiser for the Edmonton International Film Festival. Is it just me, or are you kinda hankering for a reason to get out of the house, and outta those sweatpants? We know… baby it’s cold outside. But technology has made major advances in the personal warmth category! Really. So let’s get together and watch the OSCARS™ — live at the Matrix. Starting with your best strut along the red carpet at 4pm, the celebrity-worthy Matrix Hotel in downtown Edmonton, welcomes you to a night filled with glitz, prizes, a silent auction, and delicious bites. Hosted by singer, actor and former Klondike Kate, Maria Manna and former Edmonton Elk and man-about-town, Kavis Reed, expect glittering personality as they guide us through tonight’s glamour and… tears (for sure!). Guests will receive a welcome glass of prosecco, appetizer, three-course meal and all are encouraged to bust out the special duds. Dress to impress! If the mood hits you, of course. Each $150 ticket to this Viewing Gala includes a $50 donation receipt, and proceeds support production and programming costs for EIFF 2025, coming at you in September!
