LUNAR LORE is a group exhibition featuring fibre, ceramics, and sculpture by three Saskatchewan artists – Savannah Holt, Zoe Schneider, and Hanna Yokozawa Farquharson. EXHIBITION FEATURES: Three artists’ approach to the moon as inspiration. Experience the moon’s emotional and cultural impact, and bathe in its full embrace. Explore themes of cyclicality, time, consistency, and ritual. ARTISTS: SAVANNAH HOLT: Savannah Holt’s moon-shaped ceramic vessels, with varied textures and glazes, reflect on environmental change and the cyclical nature of time, using the moon as a symbol of constancy. ZOE SCHNEIDER: Zoe Schneider’s sculptures and installations explore fat identity and cultural perceptions, using the moon’s phases to mirror the body’s cycles of growth and loss. HANNA YOKOZAWA FARQUHARSON: Hanna Yokozawa Farquharson’s intricate fibre art work blends Saskatchewan’s landscapes with lunar reverence, reflecting on life’s cycles through the lens of nature offering you meditative respite from a busy chaotic world.
