Global News is thrilled to once again support the Toronto Fire Fighters’ Toy Drive for the eighteenth consecutive year to help those less fortunate this holiday season.
Visit CF Shops at Don Mills for the annual Toronto Fire Fighters’ Toy Drive Live on Thursday, December 12. From 4:00-7:00pm, shoppers are invited to visit the Town Square and donate a new, unwrapped toy for a child in need. Join Global News for a live broadcast from 6:00-6:30pm with Susan Hay and Chief Meteorologist Anthony Farnell.
“We are seeing an increased need throughout the community this year,” said Geoff
Berenz, President Toronto Fire Fighters’ Toy Drive. “The number of people in need is greater than we have seen in previous years, and we are seeing a slight decrease in donations as well. Times are tough. This leads to more and more members of the community in need, and we need your help more than ever to bring joy to many children’s faces this holiday season.”
