Come and discover the rising stars of opera from here and abroad in an unforgettable musical evening celebrating talent, the next generation of Canadian and international singers, and the love of opera! Join us on October 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Concordia University’s Oscar Peterson Hall for Théâtre Lyrichorégra 20’s 30th Jeunes Ambassadeurs Lyriques Benefit Gala, presented under the honorary co-presidency of Gino Quilico, O.C., CQ and Jérôme Gay. 19 young lyric artists from Canada, China, France, Germany, Mexico and South Korea will perform ensemble excerpts from the finest jewels of the operatic repertoire, in the presence of representatives from opera festivals and theaters in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Our young lyric ambassadors 2024 will be accompanied by the 30 instrumentalists of the Hawkesbury Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Marc Trautmann.
