Join us for Diwali Downtown Vancouver on October 27 at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre.
This vibrant event will feature live South Asian music and dance, a festive Diwali market, and our popular Rangoli and Diya painting workshops.
Keerat Kaur’s poster art honors the marine life of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, drawing a parallel between the radiant colours and patterns of ocean creatures and the inner light that Diwali symbolizes.
The bioluminescence of these beings mirrors the universal glow we celebrate during this festival of joy and renewal.
