Bow River Bruins Battles Bullies

Bullying is a pervasive issue that affects countless lives, leaving scars that can last a lifetime. We believe that every individual deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued. The Bow River Bruins Hockey Association is unveiling our new pink Bow River jerseys to help raise awareness for Pink Shirt Day/Anti Bullying Day and to send a big message that Bow River promotes kindness both on and off the ice.

Our teams will be wearing these jerseys for games the week of February 22 – 29th. Then on February 29th, as a big finale, we will be hosting 2 marquee games at the Shane Homes YMCA at Rocky Ridge Rink. 5:30 – 6:45pm will see Bow River Bruins U11-2 Gold host the U11-2 Black team 7 – 8:15pm will see the Bow River Bruins U18 BC1 host SW Cougars U18 BC1 Together, we can provide the tools and motivation needed to take a stand against bullying. Let’s unite to create a brighter, kinder future for all. Join us on February 29th at these free games and help Bow River stand strong against bullying, one pink jersey at a time.
