The prestigious Glow Gala brings together more than 500 influential community, corporate, and healthcare leaders to enjoy enchanting and unique entertainment, thrilling online and live auctions, a luxury raffle, delectable drink and food, and a seriously fun after-party. This vital event supports the work of BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, raising funds for newborn + women’s health in BC.
During the event, they will pay tribute to two Women’s Health Champions who have philanthropically, or through their life’s work, improved the health of women in BC.
They will honour Women’s Health Champion, Community Leader: the Lalji Family and Women’s Health Champion, Health Leader: Dr. Deborah Money for their work ensuring all women at all life stages have access to the highest quality healthcare when, where, and how they need it.
Funds raised during the Fund-A-Need will support The Provincial Medical Genetics Program (PMGP), a provincial centre of excellence located at BC Women’s Hospital + Health Centre, that provides families with exceptional genomics-informed care. Genomics care provides precise, patient-specific treatment plans for expectant mothers that can save a newborn’s life upon delivery; critically-ill infants in the NICU; those born with a genetic cancer susceptibility syndrome; patients with genetic eye-disorders and more.
