Tino Makris
Video Journalist
Tino Makris was born and raised in Regina, Sask. and joined Global Maritimes in 2009.
He’s a graduate of Mount Royal College’s Broadcasting program and upon graduation quickly went to work at Global Regina as a freelance journalist. He then spent four years in Red Deer, Alberta as a Video Journalist for CHCA News before an opportunity to work in Saint John presented itself.
He’s an avid movie buff and gym enthusiast and has a passion for travelling and experiencing as many different cultures as possible. He is the son of Greek immigrants and when the opportunity presents itself he goes down to Greece to visit his family and friends and reconnect with his roots.
