Layla Khdir

Producer

Layla Khdir is the producer for Chelsea on CHED.

Prior to joining CHED, Layla served as a radio chase producer in Vancouver, where she demonstrated her talent for producing engaging content.

Educationally, Layla holds a diploma in online journalism and broadcasting with distinction from BCIT and certifications in digital journalism from Reuters. She also pursued a bachelor’s in journalism from El Sherouk Academy in Egypt, a testament to her dedication and passion for the field.

Her outstanding contributions as a student have earned her prestigious awards from OMNI TV and the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).

Layla further sharpened her skills through internships at major Canadian media outlets, including CBC, Global BC, and CTV News.

Off-duty, Layla enjoys spending time with her family and Joy, her beloved pet cat.
