As our entertainment contributor Jay Walker Waugh can be seen every Friday on the Morning News, Montreal’s number one local morning news program. Jay also hosts Global Montreal’s Summer in the City, giving viewers an inside look at all the festivities happening in and around Montreal this summer.

Jay is also host of Montreal Rocks, a two-hour critically acclaimed new music show that airs on Sundays from 10 to midnight on CHOM 97.7 FM and showcases the biggest news makers of the week both local and internationally.

Starting as a producer for The Team 990 AM in 1999 (producing Expos games), Jay has expanded his original horizons to hosting, producing, creative development and writing, for both English and French radio and television stations.

From producing CHOM’s morning show Mornings Rock with Terry & Ted at just 23, to segment producing for the entertainment show Flash, to interviewing Hollywood’s biggest stars as a reporter for Box-Office, to hosting the cross-Canada rock radio staple Canada Rocks, Jay remains true to his strong focus on music, news, sports and lifestyle.
