Ina Sidhu
Anchor
Ina Sidhu is the anchor for Global News at 11.
With over a decade of experience in broadcast journalism, with stories appearing on both local and national newscasts, and has covered everything from high-profile murder trials to breaking news events and local festivals.
Prior to joining Global, she was a reporter and anchor at CTV Winnipeg and a reporter/fill-in anchor at CTV Calgary.
A graduate of the University of Calgary with a degree in communications studies, Ina also earned a broadcast news diploma from SAIT.
She began her television career as a junior/writer producer working on entertainment shows at Pyramid Productions in Calgary and then made the switch to news, anchoring at 660News before moving to CHAT TV in Medicine Hat.
Ina is an avid traveller and is a huge fan of Bollywood movies. She enjoys spending time at the city’s dog parks with her Border-Collie Sadie and checking out the city’s food scene. Her attempt at learn to cook over the pandemic sadly failed.
