Andrea Howick

Anchor

Andrea Howick began her career in journalism during the Ice Storm of 1998. 

She holds a degree in Political Science from McGill University, a Certificat d’Études politiques from Université d’Aix-Marseille III, and a Graduate Diploma in Journalism from Concordia University. 

Andrea came to Global in 2000 after having worked at CFCF-12 (CTV Montreal)

For a decade, she stepped away from TV news and co-founded a company that produced how-to parenting videos. 

At Global she has been a health reporter, anchor on This Morning Live / Global News Morning and a multi-market anchor for Global News in Montreal, Halifax and New Brunswick. 

When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and chocolate Labrador.
