The family whose minivan was stolen from their Albert Park home Thursday are thanking Calgary police for their efforts in locating both their vehicle and the wheelchair that had been inside it.

The family of an Edmonton teen whose customized wheelchair went missing from outside her hospital room said it has been found.

Zawada received a customized, specially ordered wheelchair approximately eight months ago. She said it has a specially sized seat and backrest. The wheelchair is worth roughly $4,000.
