Hadfield takes command of the forecast

Commander Chris Hadfield has pretty much done it all and if he hasn’t done it, I’m betting he could do it.

The skill set necessary to be in space is so vast, his reading history would probably be as long as the Encyclopedia Britannica. He can talk about anything and can speak on anyone’s level. He’s a fascinating person to be around and, sorry for the pun, really down to earth. He was at our station for around 45 minutes but no time will ever really feel like enough once you start to listening to him speak.

His photos from space were amazing. His tweets of Winnipeg also made me proud to live here — he could take a picture of anything in the world and he chose to highlight this city. What a guy!

He would also have a pretty spectacular view of the biggest storm systems in the world, and I know for Manitobans who love a big storm, that would be an amazing view to have right out your window.
