SAINT-BASIL-LE-GRAND – An 18-month-old girl was found dead at a home daycare in Saint-Basile-le-Grand, a suburb of Montreal’s south shore.

She was found in a crib just after lunch on Friday.

Her death was confirmed a few minutes after she was taken to hospital.

Investigators from the Richelieu-Saint-Laurent police are working to determine the cause of death.
